Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival delhi
After arrival at Delhi International Airport, a person from Swagat Tours will meet you and take you to your hotel. Rest after cheque-in and plan an afternoon excursion built around both the old and new faces of Delhi. See Qutub Minar, the highest brick tower in the world and a recognized World Heritage Site. India Gate serves as a memorial and you should also see the President’s House, Parliament House and Secretariat Building. At Rajghat and Shanti Vana, pay tribute to the cremation places of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Make sure to see Jama Masjid, the famous Red Fort and Chandni Chowk while in Old Delhi. Stay the night at the hotel for rest.
Day 2: Delhi-Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and goes by the nickname Pink City for its unique rose-colored buildings, so travel there. After you land, check in at your hotel, relax and get ready to discover more of Jaipur’s royal background tomorrow.
Day 3: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, leave the hotel and make your way to Jaipur by car. You might take in picturesque views of rural India while travelling. Once you're in Jaipur, check into your hotel and unwind. Spend the night in a Jaipur hotel.
Day 4: jaipur-Bhundi
Visit Bundi which stands out for its beautiful Rajput ruins and amazing local artworks. The huge Taragarh Fort is famous for its beautiful architecture and shows you stunning views of Srinagar and the nearby mountains. Take a look at Raniji Ki Baori which combines the old practise of collecting water with skillfully carved ornaments. Explore the tight streets of Bundi to see the walls of havelis covered with fresh and colourful murals showing the region’s old customs.
Day 5: Bundi to Udaipur
Making your way to Udaipur, know as the City of Lakes, means experiencing romance and the noble spirit of its past. Because it lies in the Aravalli hills, Udaipur has sparkling lakes, aristocratic palaces and plenty of green gardens, making it peaceful. Relax as soon as you get there and let the calm beauty charmed poets and artist through the ages surround you. Get ready to enjoy the beautiful architecture and cultural history of the city ahead.
Day 6: Udaipur Sightseeing
Highlights to look at in Udaipur include the City Palace, a complex above Lake Pichola with beautiful courtyards, walkways and museums. You can see the attractive gardens of Jag Mandir by taking an aboat ride across Lake Pichola. Stop by Saheliyon Ki Bari, designed for royals in the past and see Jagdish Temple, a marvel of IndoAryan design. Enjoy the sunset by walking the lakeside walkway.
Day 7: Udaipur to Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City, famous for its blue-painted houses and formidable forts. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s largest forts with extensive museums and panoramic views of the city. Explore Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Wander through the old city’s bazaars for handicrafts and spices.
Day 8: jodhpur jaiselmer
Travel from Jodhpur, the Blue City, to Jaisalmer, famously known as the Golden City due to its stunning yellow sandstone architecture that glows warmly under the desert sun. Nestled in the heart of the vast Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is a mesmerizing blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and prepare to immerse yourself in the unique desert ambiance. The city’s ancient ramparts, havelis, and bustling bazaars offer a glimpse into a bygone era of Rajput valor and trade prosperity.
Day 9: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Begin your day with a visit to the iconic Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quila or the Golden Fort. Unlike most forts, this is a “living fort” where a significant population still resides within its massive sandstone walls. Inside, explore narrow winding lanes lined with shops, temples, and residences, all showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. Next, visit Patwon Ki Haveli, a cluster of five havelis renowned for their intricate jharokhas (balconies), detailed stone carvings, and expansive courtyards. Nearby, Salim Singh Ki Haveli stands out with its distinctive arched roof and peacock motifs, reflecting the opulence of its former inhabitants. Day 10: Jaisalmer to Bikaner

Begin your exploration at Junagarh Fort, a formidable fortress that remarkably was never captured in battle. The fort’s elaborate palaces, temples, and museums within its walls showcase a blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles, with beautifully painted interiors and intricate latticework. Next, visit Lalgarh Palace, an architectural marvel combining Rajput, Mughal, and European influences. The palace’s grand halls, ornate balconies, and sprawling gardens reflect the royal lifestyle of Bikaner’s maharajas. If time permits, visit the National Research Centre on Camel, where you can learn about the significance of camels in desert life, their breeding, and conservation efforts. Day 11: Bikaner-mandawa
Travel to Mandawa, a charming town in the Shekhawati region, often referred to as the “Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan.” Mandawa is famous for its magnificent havelis adorned with vibrant frescoes and murals depicting mythological scenes, historical events, and everyday life. Explore notable havelis such as Murmuria Haveli, known for its colorful paintings and grand architecture, and Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, which showcases exquisite fresco work and intricate wood carvings. Walking through Mandawa’s streets feels like stepping into a living museum, where art and history blend seamlessly. Engage with the local culture by visiting artisan workshops and markets, where traditional crafts such as pottery, textiles, and jewelry are still practiced and sold.
Day 12: mandawa-Delhi
Return to Delhi for your onward journey. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some leisure time to explore Delhi’s markets for souvenirs or visit any last-minute attractions. Transfer to the airport with fond memories of your immersive journey through India’s rich heritage and diverse landscapes.
